Girl Scouts: Learn how to sew!

Earn a sewing badge! Give back! Make a garment or even a cuddly pillow donate this to someone in need of comfort or being clothed. Up-cycle! Bring in clothing that is no longer in use, watch what you can create and make! Girl Scouts are creative!!!

Here are some ideas!!

Design your very own top using an ordinary white tee shirt.
The troop can recreate, fringe & embellish their design. You'll cut the tee-shirt and recreate a new look-make it a bow back, a bow sleeve, make the body a tank with a pony tail back. The possibilities are endless.

Design and make a Pillow
Choose the fabric, design your pillow, measure & make a paper pattern, pin and cut the fabric, Learn how to sew, sew the pillow. Final touches then fill the pillow! All ages welcome.

Upcycle anything!!
Take a sweater, jeans, tee shirts just about anything and create a new item or piece that you designed!! Older girls only ages 10 and up.

Make a Summer Poncho.
The girls will choose from a large selection of fabrics, Design, Cut, Sew [by machine] then add trims or embellish the top.
Ages 10 and up.

Accessory Design!!
All ages welcome.
