High Tea am Jersey Shore Week pm

 9-12 & 1-4 

Grades & info: ages 9-16 all welcome 

                            No sewing experience necessary 

                            Co-ed classes

Fee $225.00 9-12 or 1-4

Includes all fabric, notions, trims for domestic customers.
Since the class is virtual you must have sewing machine on hand. 

Machine rentals are available. Please inquire.

Limit 6-13 students 

International students:  fabric, notions or trims not included in the price.

High Tea Fashion Week 9-12:00
Design and create your dress for your High Tea event. The designers will also explore trending designs, fabrics, and accessories that are inspired by English designers. The accessory of the week is to create a fascinator to complement their dress design. The class will end with a Virtual tea party then our Virtual fashion show!!

Jersey Shore Week- 1-4:00
Design and create beach cover-up. Designers will explore beach cover up fabrics,
styles and prints. The accessory of the week is to design & embellish their straw hat.  Add a message to your hat brim or decorate it with your unique style.

Do you have a passion for fashion? Well, you have come to the right place we will teach you all you need to know to become a fashion designer.
Some sewing experience helpful necessary. 

We offer a 1.5hour workshop on how to sew or as a refresher course. Ages 8and up are all welcome for this class.

Our students [Fashion Designers] start with the sketch (croquis), technical details, choosing and rendering the fabric, learning the proper way to measure including measuring understanding the importance of this process and the fit of the garment. They learn how to pin and sew using a sewing machine.  Then, they sew the entire garment including the final fitting. Finally, on the last day of our camp, we hold our Virtual Fashion Show.
During our fashion summer camp weeks, if time allows, we add fashion challenges (i.e. Newspaper challenges as well as others as the days go by), for our designers to explore their inner most fashion taste and skills.
