July 13-17 Monday- Friday
9:30-12:30 or 1-4:00 pm 

Ages 8-16 all welcome 

                            No sewing experience necessary 

                            Co-ed classes

Fee $250.00 half day session (Includes all fabric, notions, trims, and use of sewing machines)
Limit 8

CDC guidelines will be followed. We will take every precaution to make this camp week as safe as possible adding in lots of fun!!!

Each student will have their own sewing machine, supplies and fabrics for the entire camp week.

Social distancing will apply.

Masks required.

Outside space for snack time break.

Kentucky Derby- Design and create a colorful outfit to wear to the Kentucky Derby including your very own hat! Designers will explore the dress and details of the derby. Our campers will explore fashions of the Kentucky Derby including the elaborate hats they wore. The camp week will end with in an individual virtual fashion show, to share with family and friends. Do you have a passion for fashion? Well, you have come to the right place we will teach you all you need to know to become a fashion designer. The camp fee includes all fabrics, trims and use of sewing machines. 

 Bohemian Week- Design and create a flowing Boho style dress or top. Mixing & matching patterns for their design. Design a bag or even a bracelet from our collection of beads and fabrics. Our campers will explore the Boho lifestyle from arts to music. The camp week will end with in an individual virtual fashion show, that family and friends are all welcome to view. Do you have a passion for fashion? Well, you have come to the right place we will teach you all you need to know to become a fashion designer. The camp fee includes all fabrics, trims and use of sewing machines. 

Our students [Fashion Designers] start with the sketch (croquis), technical details, choosing and rendering the fabric, learning the proper way to make a pattern, including measuring each other, understanding the importance of this process and the fit of the garment. They learn how to pin and sew using a sewing machine.  Then, they sew the entire garment including the final fitting. Finally, on the last day of our camp, we hold our individual virtual Fashion Show. During our fashion summer camp weeks, if time allows, we add individual fashion challenges (i.e. Newspaper challenges, trash bag challenges), for our designers to explore their inner most creativity. No sewing experience necessary. All fabric, supplies and use of the sewing machines are included.
