Includes all fabric, notions, trims, and use of sewing machines.

CDC guidelines will be implemented  during COVID-19 specific details to follow.

NOLA Week (New Orleans)– Design and create a simple jumpsuit with Fashion First Workshops for your NOLA camp event. The designers will also explore trending designs, fabrics, and accessories that are inspired by the French dressing up for Mardi Gras or the Jazz festival. The accessory of the week is either decorate and design a parasol or a mask. Then they’ll even make a braided belt to complement their design. The class will end with our stand alone virtual fashion show!! Do you have a passion for fashion? Well you have come to the right place, we will teach you all you need to know to become a fashion designer. These designers will also take part in fashion challenges (i.e. Newspaper challenges, trash bag challenges & many more). No sewing experience necessary, co-ed classes. The camp fee includes all fabric, trims, notions and use of the sewing machines.

Ages 9-18

Paris Week –Design and create a Parisian inspired dress or top with Fashion First Workshops for your Paris camp event. The designers will also explore trending designs, fabrics, and accessories that are inspired by the French. The accessory of the week is to make a beret hat to complement their design. The class will end with then a virtual stand alone fashion show!! Do you have a passion for fashion? Well you have come to the right place, we will teach you all you need to know to become a fashion designer. These designers will also take part in individual fashion challenges (i.e. Newspaper challenges, trash bag challenges & many more). No sewing experience necessary, co-ed classes. The camp fee includes all fabric, trims, notions and use of the sewing machines.

Ages 8-18

Our students [Fashion Designers] start with the sketch (croquis), technical details, choosing and rendering the fabric, learning the proper way to make a pattern, including measuring each other, understanding the importance of this process and the fit of the garment. They learn how to pin and sew using a sewing machine.  Then, they sew the entire garment including the final fitting. Finally, on the last day of our camp, we hold our Fashion Show. During our fashion summer camp weeks, if time allows, we add individual fashion challenges (i.e. Newspaper challenges, trash bag challenges), for our designers to explore their inner most fashion taste and skills.  No sewing experience necessary. All fabric, supplies and use of the sewing machines are included.

There will be a virtual fashion show online with stand alone photos.
