– May 8, 15, 22, 29 (no class May 1)
– June 5
Grades 2-8. No sewing skill needed, we’ll teach you how to sew!
Boys and girls all welcome!

Details/Description

This trapeze silhouette is so youthful and fun! We can’t wait to see what our designers create & make! This simple shape can be for the beginning sewer or a more advanced sewer. Add a bell sleeve, add a cap sleeve. Make the neckline a bateau, a vee neckline, a scoop neck. It’s up to you, you’re the designer.

You’ll start with:

• Choosing your fabric from solids, stripes, textures, prints
• rendering and sketching your project
• Measuring for pattern selection and sizing
• Laying out and marking your pattern
• Cutting and pinning your dress
• Sewing your components together using a sewing machine
• Fitting and final touches to your dress
• Fashion Show on the last day of class!
