Classes start on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 for 8 weeks
Session 1 – September 26 through November 14
Session 2 – January 9 through February 27

Grades 6-12. No sewing experience needed!
Boys and girls all welcome!

Registration Options and Cost
Fee TBD for 8 weeks.
Includes all fabric, supplies, and use of sewing machines.
Limit 6 minimum- 18 maximum

Details/Description
Our Fall 2018 project is to recreate the pant. This simple silhouette is so flattering and fun, make the pant a palazzo, bell bottom, tapered skinny or a wide leg. It’s up to you, you’re the designer! Choose from many fun fashionable fabrics for your design. Solids, stripes, plaids, checks geometrics and florals. It’s up to you, you’re the designer!

You’ll start with:

• Learning how to sew or if already know how, you’ll sharpen your skills
• Choosing your fabric from an array of solids, plaids, florals etc
• Rendering and sketching
• Learn how to measure for pattern selection and sizing
• Layout and marking your pattern
• Cutting and pinning
• Sewing your components together using a machine
• Fitting and final finishing touches
• Fashion show and planning it
